On October 10th, generations of Pikes gathered to celebrate 30 years of Pi Kappa Alpha at the University of the Pacific.

Thirty years ago, a group of men built something bigger than themselves. We thank the alumni who returned to share the moment, memories, and who have built the legacy that Pike carries on today. In a room filled with generations of Pikes, a reflection of what this brotherhood means and the greatness that this chapter holds.

The chapter thanks Tom Olsen and our Nationals for joining us at this milestone. Their support and encouragement heavily inspired our chapter to keep striving for greatness. To pave the way for future Pikes to keep holding our standards high.

We are proud to announce that we have chartered our new alumni association.

Thank you to those who made time to come celebrate our 30th anniversary. Cheers to another 30 years of Pike at the University of the Pacific.

The Pi Kappa Alpha – Kappa Nu Chapter is incredibly proud to wrap up this year’s Fire Fighter’s Challenge! Over the course of six days, organizations across campus came together to compete, build connections, and most importantly, give back to our community. Together, we were able to raise an incredible $6,900!
A huge thank you to every organization that competed and brought their energy, time, and generosity to this year’s challenge. We couldn’t have done it without you!
And a special thank you to the Stockton Fire Department for partnering with us and being such an important part of this project. Your support and dedication to our community made this event truly special.
Thank you to everyone who helped make these six days possible. We’re already looking forward to making next year even bigger!

Introducing our Garnet Girl contestant from Delta Gamma Tanisha Patel!

“Over the past year, I’ve gotten really close with the brothers and have had the opportunity to learn more about why they chose PIKE and how much their philanthropy means to them. Through our friendships, I’ve seen how much we support and look out for each other, and I’ve realized how closely our values and morals align. I want to run in the Fire Fighter’s Challenge to support a cause they care so deeply about, and help raise money for something that makes a difference. I’m someone who values loyalty, friendship, and showing up for the people I care about, while also taking pride in my academics, staying active, and always pushing myself to grow. I think this challenge would be a meaningful way to represent those qualities and support a community that has become important to me.”

Introducing our Garnet Girl contestant Dakota Leiva representing Delta Gamma!

“I am so honored to announce that I will be representing Delta Gamma in this year’s Firefighter Challenge for the chance to win Garnet Girl! Coming into college I had doubts about Greek life. I was skeptic about organizations in general and their morals values, and causes. However meeting the brothers of PIKE was an eye opener to my cloudy judgement. The brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha are such genuine and down to earth individuals who truly embody the values of a gentleman through their character and demeanor. That is something that I deeply respect and appreciate about this brotherhood. Over the past years the connections I made have turned into life long friendships. I’m grateful to call many of the brothers my friends, with them i have made countless memories including late night laughs and Friday dye days. PIKE and its members have been such a special part of my college journey that I will forever cherish.

One of the main reasons I am so supportive of the Fire Fighter’s Challenge and it’s cause is because it’s about so much more than a competition. It gives students like me the opportunity to come together as a community and give back to the firefighters who have dedicated their lives to helping and protecting others. The money raised throughout this event helps support first responders by strengthening the Stockton Fire Foundation and gives us a chance to make a difference. I am incredibly proud to be part of this event as it is a great way to get involved, support PIKE, and bring awareness to such an impactful cause.

I am so excited to represent my sisters and to support PIKE’s philanthropy. If you’d like to support me and the Firefighter challenge, please use the link in my bio to donate! Every donation matters, big or small, it makes a difference!”

“I love that the fundraising will be going back to our community like Theta donates to San Joaquin CASA. And in all, I would like to support other organizations on campus and our community to hopefully keep them safe! And to might as well have some fun while I’m at it.”

Introducing our Garnet Girl contestant Aliza Retut

Introducing our Garnet Girl contestant Aliza Retuta from Delta Gamma!

“My freshman year, both DG and PIKE helped me find what I needed the most: community and lasting friendships. Going through college with the boys who would one day become part of PIKE exec, I found myself caring about their organization’s well-being almost as much as I do DG’s. Over the past three years, I’ve done whatever I can to support PIKE- whether it’s donating to their philanthropy, showing up to their events, or coaching their candidates in our very own Anchor Splash competition. I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to PIKE firsthand by designing and painting posters for their Endless Summer (2025) social and Jurassic PIKE (2025) party. Now, as I enter my final year at Pacific and my last opportunity to run for Garnet Girl, it feels especially meaningful to look back at how much both organizations have shaped my college experience. At this point, I’ve grown so close to PIKE that running for Garnet Girl feels like my chance to represent the two organizations that mean the most to me: Delta Gamma and Pi Kappa Alpha.”

“I want to participate in PIKE’s Fire Fighter’s Challenge because it’s a really fun way to represent Phi Epsilon Kappa while raising money for a great cause! I have so much respect for firefighters and everything they risk to protect our communities, so I’m excited to support the Stockton Fire Foundation and have fun throughout the week!”

Proud of our brother Mario for representing PIKE a

Proud of our brother Mario for representing PIKE at the 2026 Stanford Neurodiversity Summit.

Mario had the opportunity to speak on what makes an effective village, share his experience with dyslexia, and highlight how learning differently can be a strength. From the support of family and educators to the mentors and people who help you along the way, having the right village can make all the difference.

Mario said, “At the 2026 Stanford Neurodiversity Summit, I had the amazing opportunity to explain what makes an effective village, how dyslexia works and using dyslexia as a gift. Speaking on a panel with professionals who have been changing the way schools teach for decades.

An effective village has a supporting family as its foundation, who would do anything to get the support you need to adapt to your learning disabilities. Additionally, the teachers and tutors around you should provide the effective strategies you need to succeed.

Dyslexia does not only affect your reading, it makes you think non-linear. You can see problems in the big picture and make you think outside the box.

At the end of the day dyslexia is a gift. Once you believe such, dyslexia will give you the ability to find problems and solutions others cannot.

I could not be more grateful for an amazing opportunity. Being able to meet professors, professionals and spreading awareness to see others like me achieve success.” #leadership #pike #pikappaalpha #studentleadership

As rush is underway, we asked one of our brothers, Siroj Kamaliddinov, who serves as our chapter social media and philanthropy chair on why he chose PIKE, he responded with:

“When I first transferred to the University of the Pacific, it was a complete change of scenery. This was a different city, different school, different environment and I was very introverted. When I met a couple brothers during club rush, it was almost like we instantly connected. I had no clue what fraternities were and never even thought I would join any but after going through rush, I knew PIKE was meant for me. Going through the whole process made me realize this wasn’t just a “fraternity” but a group of people I would give my life for. Going through some of the worst times of my life, my brothers were there for me and I couldn’t be more happy that It was this group of men to be by my side. PIKE got me out of my comfort zone and even helped me get a job on campus, win a sorority philanthropy competition and elevate me as a person. To the people who are debating if they should rush or join a fraternity, I would say give it a shot, you have nothing to lose. I am proud to call this group of guys my brothers, and I am proud I gave PIKE a shot.”

RUSH THE BEST, RUSH PIKE
